Pauline Quirion is the director of the Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Re-entry Project, which focuses on assisting people, especially from communities of color, in overcoming barriers to employment and other opportunities caused by their criminal records. Before starting the CORI Project, Quirion specialized in family law and advocacy for victims of domestic violence for more than 25 years. She is the lead attorney for appellate advocacy at GBLS and has been involved in many precedent setting appellate cases, including winning a 2014 case in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (Commonwealth v. Pon) which lowered the legal standard used by judges to seal criminal cases. Quirion has authored numerous articles, has lectured frequently at continuing legal education (CLE) programs, and has produced two CLE books, including Massachusetts CORI Law.
