Records relating to an offense for which the governor granted a pardon before June 13, 2019 can be sealed by the court immediately. Or. Rev. Stat. § ___, added by Senate Bill 388 of 2019.
Ineligible Category or Citation
There is no statutory language regarding ineligible offenses.
The person must request, in writing, that the Governor initiate the process of sealing records relating to the pardoned conviction. The request must include the date of the pardon, the crime of conviction, and the county in which the pardoned conviction occurred. Or. Rev. Stat. § ___, added by Senate Bill 388 of 2019.
There are no fees.
The record of conviction and other official records in the case, including the records of arrest, citation or charge, are sealed.
